Ghana must beat Togo in the final Group A game to guarantee progress in the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-17 Africa Cup qualifying tournament.
The Black Starlets missed a golden opportunity to seize top spot in Group A on Wednesday with a 0-0 stalemate against hosts Niger.
With just three teams in Group A, coupled with the 0-0 draw between Togo and Niger in the Group opener, Karim Zito’s side must go all out for a win over Togo to ensure qualification.
A draw in the final group game will mean all three teams will finish with two points, which will see qualification go down to mathematics.
The Black Starlets will however want to avoid any uncertainty by securing the win over Togo to guarantee qualification.
Only the winner of the qualifying tournament will make it to the 2019 U17 Africa Cup finals to be staged in Tanzania.
