Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abu has joined Norwegian club Valerenga.
The 26-year-old arrives on a one-year loan deal from American club Columbus Crew.
Abu has passed a medical to complete his loan switch, the Norwegian side have announced.
“Vålerenga and MLS Club Columbus Crew agree on a lease for midfielder Mohammed Abu,” the club said in a statement.
“He passed a medical test at the Intility Arena on Friday morning and comes to Vålerenga on loan out the year.”
Abu has been farmed out on loan persistently ever since moving to Europe where he first signed with Manchester City in 2010.
This will be his seventh loan stint in his career.
He is now returning to play in Norway where he last played for Stromsgodset.
