Ghanaian striker Hans Kwofie has been kidnapped in Tanzania.

The former Medeama SC player joined Singida United Football Club recently after mutually terminating his contract with Smouha SC in the Egyptian topflight but news coming in is that he has been kidnapped.

Singida United tweeted just an hour ago that Hans Kwofie has been kidnapped after he was named in their squad released for the 2018/2019 season.

“Our player Hans Kwofie from Ghana has been kidnapped” Singida United FC tweeted.

Hans Kwofie won the top scorer in last season’s Ghana Premier League with 17 goals.
