Ghana youth international Patrick Asmah has signed a one-year loan deal with Slovakian side FK Senica from Italian Serie A side Atalanta.

Asmah, 22 signed the one-year loan deal on Thursday after passing his medicals in a private hospital in the city of Slovak.

The 2015 Ghana national under 20 defender spent last season on loan at Salernitana but failed to have enough time as he managed only two appearances with the Primavera squad.

The lateral defender has been told Senica manager Tom Caanen that he will have adequate playing time in the Fortuna League.

He becomes the second Ghanaian in the setup of the Zahoraci with the other one being Hans Nunoo Sarpei who is on loan from Stuttgart.
