President of Berekum Chelsea Football Club, Nana Kwame Nketia is sure that they have served their three matches home suspension.
Reports were rife in the media that Chelsea’s game against Liberty professional in Kumasi was not part of their three game ban.
However, the president of the club has quashed that assertion by insisting that they have finished serving their ban
“We’ve served our three home match ban already, because we went to Kumasi to play against Liberty which was supposed to be telecast live but it didn’t happen. “ Nketia told Kessben FM
“The DC judgement indicated that our live telecast match was excluded from our home ban matches so since our match against Liberty was not telecast, I believe we’ve served our ban already “
“I’ve written to the PLB that we (Berekum Chelsea) have served our three home ban matches and we are waiting on them” He concluded.
Chelsea were handed a three-match home ban after assaulting Referee Nuhu Limann during their game with Dreams FC at Berekum.
