Ghana defender Abraham Akwasi Frimpong won the 2017/2018 Serbian League title with Redstar Belgrade after they defeated his former club Napredak Krusevac FC by two goals to nothing.
Nenad Krsticic gave Redstar the lead in the 78th minute at the Stadion Mladost in Krusevac before Aleksandar Pesic converted an 89th minute penalty to give Redstar a 2-0 win.
Frimpong who is regarded as one of the best centre-backs in Serbia was pleased with his side who have now won 28 Serbian Super League trophies.

This is the second title Frimpong has won in Serbia with the first one being with Napredak Krusevac in the PrVa League during the 2012/2013 season.
