Techiman Eleven Wonders will be hoping to prolong their good home form when they face Medeama on match day nine of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Medeama’s last game, against Elmina Sharks came to an abrupt end after Referee Nuhu Liman was allegedly stoned by supporters of Elmina Sharks at half time at the Ndoum Stadium on Wednesday.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee are to adjudicate on the matter as Medeama have lodged a protest demanding three goals and three points from the match.
They must put all those developments well behind them to face one of the league’s new boys Eleven Wonders whose performance at home has been remarkable so far.
Medeama last’s trip to the Brong Ahafo Region saw them losing to Bechem United and with Eleven Wonders’ formidable strength at home, Medeama must play above themselves to return to Tarkwa victorious.
Eleven Wonders’ Abdul Wahab has been a threat for defenders at the Nana Ameyaw Park. He’s scored three goals in his three games and will definitely be a figure the defence line of Medeama must watch to have any hopes of not conceding.
Kwesi Donsu had also found his scoring boot the Yellow and Mauves, netting two this season after failing to register a goal in the league the whole of last season. Should the more experienced striker, Kwame Boateng also find his rhythm, the game will be one that will produce so much thrills.
