A tribunal which will be chaired by Exeter City boss, Julian Tagg as well as manager Paul Tisdale, director of football Steve Perryman and finance director Keith Mason along with the club’s legal team will meet on Wednesday to determine how much they will take from Chelsea as compensation for Ethan Ampadu’s move to Stamford Bridge.
Ethan who is of Ghanaian descent joined Chelsea last summer at the age of 16 and has impressed in his seven senior team games though he has mainly featured for the Under 21 side.
Exeter City are entitled to a compensation fee for the player, as he was developed at their Academy and has not attained the age of 24. Initially, the fee could not be agreed as what Exeter City proposed was far more than what Chelsea wanted to pay.
The Grecians have now put together a tribunal which will now set the amount Chelsea have to pay according to their official club website.
The few which will be agreed tomorrow (Wednesday) will not be made public until after fourteen days.
Ampadu has already played two unofficial games for the Welsh Senior National Team but he is still eligible to represent Ghana, England and Ireland.
