The Ghana U17 team have arrived back in Ghana having won silver at the African Championships.

A highly-powered delegation of the Ghana FA Executive Committee and the Deputy Minister of Sports Pius Hadzide were on hand at the Kotoka International Airport to welcome the Black Starlets.
Scores of supporter groups and well wishers were also present at the airport.

Ghana finished second at the African U17 Championships having lost 1-0 to Mali in the finals played last Sunday.
The team aside winning silver were also adjudged the Fair Play team of the tournament.
Ghana alongside Mali, Niger and Guinea will be Africa’s four representatives at the World Cup.
