Ghana midfielder Obeng Regan is glad after scoring for his side FK Cukaricki in their 2-1 defeat to Spartak Subotica in the Serbian Superlig over the weekend.
Regan equalized for his side in the 30th minute with a wonderful strike before Ognjen Mudrinski netted what proved to be the match winner with three minutes to go to the end of the first half.
The Ghana National Under 23 star is ready to finish the season on the high with just two games left.
“I have not started many games this season though I always train hard and I am in top form, I decided to prove when I was made to start and I did it,” Regan told footballmadeinghana.com
“I hope to start the next couple of games and I will do my best again. Though we lost, my performance was good and I am happy I scored,”
Regan has been previously a transfer target of Ajax Amsterdam, Danish side Alborg, Wadi Degla and other clubs but his club failed to release him. With just a year left on his contract, he could make a long-awaited move outside Serbia this summer.
