Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman says the wranglings between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ghana Football Association affected their quest to make it to the 2018 Mundial.
The onloan Chelsea star emphasized that it got to time that moral was down in camp and it had an adverse consequence on the team.
“It is dishearten that we could not make it to the World Cup. I think the then impasse between the GFA and the Ministry really affected us,” Baba told footballmadeinghana.com
“Sometimes, moral was very low especially in before our first game with the Cranes of Uganda in Tamale. As a footballer, you need to be in a good frame of mind before such games so when there is troubles between the two parties backing us, it is we who suffer,”
Ghana failed to make it to the 2018 World Cup in Russia having drawn three games at home.
