Dreams FC continued their bright start to the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League season by overcoming a stubborn Kotoku Royals FC on Saturday afternoon.
The Ignatius Osei Fosu’s led side defeated the new entrants by a lone goal at the Theatre of Dreams to go on top of the League table.
A second half strike from Ali Huzaf handed the “Still Believe” lads a hard fought victory.
Dreams head coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu made no changes to the team that won their opening game at Bibiani Goldstars FC on matchday one.
It was Dreams who started the game very well and came close after the half hour mark, but Dana Blessings’s shot went wide.
Lord Bawa on the other hand denied the visitors with a good save.
The host came from the break and continued from where they left off.
Agyenim Boateng came close for Dreams but his feeble shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
Dreams finally took the lead on the 71st minutes, Ali Huzaf finished home a pass to break the deadlock of the game.
The host despite a late pressure from the visitors held to their lead till the blast of the final whistle.
