Member of the Government Legal Advisers, Herbert Crapper has revealed that, the Attorney General has received authorization by the government to instruct the Registrar General to trigger the process to oust the current Ghana Football Association.
According to Herbert Crapper, both entities have even started the dissolution exercise and will soon see the GFA not becoming a registered company anymore.
In as much as the populace are not happy with the activities of the Football Association, the astute Legal Luminary believes government will have to follow the law to see the end of the Ghana football ruling body
“I can say for sure that the Attorney General has been given instructions by the Head of Government to make sure they collaborate with the Registrar Generals Department to ensure a smooth process to dissolve the GFA,” Crapper told Oyerepa FM
“The Attorney General has already started with that process and we will soon see the dissolution of the GFA as a registered company,”
“Even though Ghanaians are not happy with the running of football in the country, the government will have to follow due process to get the GFA dissolved,”
Crapper also mentioned that the current members of the GFA need to be bow out to give room for fresh brains to run Ghana Football.
“This current GFA needs to be done away with to allow new crop of people to run football in the country,” he added.
