The Technical Director of the Ghana football Association, Francis Oti Akenteng has emphasized that most of the current 2017 Black Starlet players will be moved straight to the Under 23.
Oti believes the teenagers can fill that void as the under 20 team could not make it to the AYC and because of that it will be difficult for them to make the transition to the Black Meteors.
“I have followed this team with keen interest and I have seen the best in them since the qualifications and friendly matches.” Akenteng told Footballmadeinghana.com
“We will try and promote most of them straight to the Olympic team due to the failure of the under 20 boys. “
The Black Starlets defeated Cameroon 4-0 on Sunday and will now face host nation Gabon in their next Group game on Wednesday.
