Dutch Eredivise side Go Ahead Eagles have sacked Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Elvis Manu even before his loan deal with them comes to an end.
The left-footed attacker who is on loan from newly-promoted EPL sideĀ Brighton & Hove Albion was told on Monday morning that he is no longer needed at the club following a post he made on social media website Instagram.
Just before his club Go Ahead Eagles locked horns with Ajax on Sunday, Manu posted a message on Instagram proclaiming his love for his childhood club Feyenoord Rotterdam.
The management of Go Ahead Eagles were not happy and on Monday morning, showed Manu the exit even before their last league game against Sparta Rotterdam this weekend.
Manu 23, spent seven years at Feyenoord Rotterdam where he went to the youth set up before graduating to the senior team in 2012. He signed for Brighton &Hove Albion in the summer of 2015 but could not hold a place in the team before he was shipped out on loan to Go Ahead Eagles in January 2016.
