Head Coach of Bechem United, Kassim Mingle has delivered a daring verdict on the prowess of Kotoko striker, Franck Etouga ahead of the meeting between Bechem United and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Bechem United will tussle it out with Kotoko on Tuesday afternoon in a rescheduled Matchday 19 encounter in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Etouga, with his goals, has powered Kotoko to the top of League table this season scoring 13 of his side’s 28 goals – representing 46% of Kotoko’s goals in the league this season.
Interestingly, 11 out of Etouga’s 13 goals – representing 85%, have come at the Baba Yara with just two goals coming on away trips.
Kassim Mingle believes that run will continue when his side faces Kotoko on Tuesday hence there’s no need to worry about the Cameroonian forward.
“Friday they played against Hearts of Oak and they couldn’t surprise Hearts of Oak, so definitely the same thing is going to happen at our home grounds”, coach Mingle stated.
“They played against Hearts of Oak yesterday and we couldn’t see them in the game. The Etouga he only scores goals in their home; away matches he can’t score goals. You watch the statistics you will see, all the goals he scored are home goals. So it’s going to continue, yesterday they played they couldn’t score. It’s going to continue like that”, he insisted.
