Real Tamale United have been handed a huge boost ahead of their clash against Legon Cities on Saturday as Nurudeen Wemah and Sadat Mohammed returned to training.
The pair have missed a couple of games through injury as Sadat has sat out of the last three games, Nurudeen couldn’t travel with team for last week’s 2-1 defeat to Great Olympics.
And now Real Tamale United have revealed that the pair are back in training ahead of the their week 19 Premier League match vs Legon Cities on Saturday.
Prince Atta Antwi and Listowell Amankona were also involved, hoping to play their part after returning from break but Captain David Abagna is still sidelined as the club awaits news of his next review slated for this week.
Head coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko has already admitted his worries over the fitness of some players and particularly about his midfield.
He said: “The most worried I am is about the injury on Sadat, Abagna and Hafiz. We have suffered a lot without these players but is our responsibility to ensure we keep other players working.
The Pride of the North return to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium after losing 2-1 to Great Olympics on Monday. And Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko thinks a win over Legon Cities will resurrect the club fortunes again. RTU are 13th on the league table on 20 points, one adrift of relegation.
