CEO of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has stated he is open to assisting the Ghana Football Association [GFA] land sponsorship deals.
The Ghana Premier League and the Division One League are without title sponsors and there have been calls from the football fraternity for the GFA to secure sponsorship deals for these products in order to increase the cash flow.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Oyerapa FM, Nana Yaw Amponsah admitted he is keen to help the GFA secure sponsorship deals if called upon.
“I have always said that people don’t respect expertise,” he said.
“I am part of Ghana Football, so if the GFA is ready to engage me to help get sponsorships for the Ghana Premier League, why not? I will be ready to assist them in that regard,” he added.
Asante Kotoko have become the market leader in terms of sponsorship acquisition since Nana Yaw Amponsah took over as CEO securing close to 14 sponsorship deals which includes deals with VEO, Errea and National Lotteries Authority (NLA).
