A former vice-President of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie has joined others in honoring the final rites of passage for the late father of Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku, the current GFA boss.

Kurt Okraku’s dad George Offei Simeon-Okraku Alias ‘Decide’ passed on Sunday, November 21, 2021 after a short illness.

The final funeral rites of the was held at the Officers Mess – Opposite the 37 Military Hospital on Friday, February 25, 2022.

The event drew well-wishers and from within and outside Ghana. There were offerings of tributory remarks and condolences to Kurt Okraku and family during this solemn occasion.

One notable presence during this was the former GFA second-in-command, George Afriyie who showed up in the company of others to pay their final respect to the departed.

This was an unblemished show of love form he football fraternity to the bereaved GFA President, Kurt Okraku.
