Ghana midfielder Godfred Donsah has emerged as a shock transfer target for German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.

Footballmaseinghana.com can exclusively reveal that the Die Werderaner are in the market looking for a replacement for Danish midfielder Thomas Delaney who is on his way to Werder Bremen.

Talks are said to have started between the agent of the 21-year-old enforcer and Bremen and they are ready to pay up to 15 million euros to secure the services of Donsah.

Bayern Leverkrusen are also said to be monitoring the situation of the former Ghana National Under 20 star and could swoop for him following the departure of Paulinho to Vasco Da Gama.

Donsah made 28 Serie A appearances for Bologna in the just ended season scoring two goals and providing two assists. His current contract ends in the summer of 2020.
