Former Dreams FC foward Joseph Esso scored his first goal of the season in the Algerian Ligue 1 on Sunday when MC Alger beat Widad Athletic Tlemcen.

MC Alger defeated Widad 2-0 in matchday three of the Algerian League at the 5 July 1962 Stadium in Algiers.

Jospeh Esso scored his side’s second of the day pouncing on a rebound to slot home a good finish.

MC Alger took the lead through Samy Frioui’s in 77th minute, the defender headed home a corner to give his team the lead.

Esso, who scored eight goals in his first season at the club is determined to score more goals this time around.
