Ghanaian forward Aminu Rafiq came from the bench to help FC Samgurali in their 2-1 extra time win over FC Gori in the quarter finals.

Rafiq was introduced in the 61st minute as his team secure a late win to go through to the Semi Finals of the Georgia Cup.

The forward was impressive after his cameo creating some decent chances for his team.

Both teams were reduced to ten men in what was a pulsating encounter on the day.

The Ghanaian international is two wins away from winning his first silverware with his club FC Samgurali.

Rafiq Aminu’s Samgurali FC will return to League action on Monday when they host Shukura FC at home.
