Asec Mimosa striker Ahmed Toure is looking forward to his club’s CAF Confederations Cup game against Aduana Stars.
Toure who attained cult figures at Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Bechem United is eager for the game as he looks set to come to a familiar territory.
“The feeling is so great because I will be coming back to my country (Ghana) to play against a Ghanaian side, I feel very happy as a player ” He told Oyerepa fm in Kumasi.
“It will be a fantastic game and I am gearing up for it”
The Ivorian-born Burkinabe forward also ruled out the possibility of a return to the Ghana Premier League as he believes he has paid his dues there.
“I have no plans of playing in Ghana again, I have done my bit, I am happy at ASEC , my goal helped them win the league, I can never say never but sincerely I’m happy here.”
“I am hoping to win the goal King award ,11 goals in 16 matches with just 6 games to go. I will surely leave Asec if I win the goal king but I won’t return to Ghana” He added.
Toure has formed a lethal attack with former WAFA striker Komlan Agbeniadan and they have been described by the Ivorian media as the deadly duo.
