Ajax forward, Milovan Rajevac has become the first player to net in Milovan Rajevac’s second reign as Black Stars, as he scored in the first opening minutes against Zimbabwe.
Milovan Rajevac was appointed as the coach of the Black Stars of Ghana last month following the sacking of CK Akonnor.
Akonnor was dismissed after recording just 3 points out of his opening two games in the World Cup qualifiers, paving the way for Milovan Rajevac to return to Ghana.
The Serbian was in charge of the Black Stars from 2008-2010 where he oversaw the Stars’ quarter-finals finish in the 2010 World Cup and will be expected to engineer another success.
On his return, Kudus Mohammed who was named in the starting XI alongside Kamaldeen Sulemana, Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew as forwards, netted the first goal in the opening five minutes of the game.
The Black Stars will be hoping to get all three points to boost their chances of securing a place in the Qatar World Cup next year.
