Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak deputy coach, Edward Nii Odoom believes the 1-0 win over eternal rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC at The Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday should not have been the actual outcome of the game.
The former Tema Youth gaffer thinks the Phobians could have buried Kotoko by an avalanche of goals but they were profligate in front of goal.
“The 1-0 does not reflect the fair results of the game. We have a lot of chances in the second half that should have scored but we wasted them. That is football, we could have scored more,” he told the media in a post match conference presser.
The win was Odoom’s first in three games since he stepped in for his boss Coach Henry Lamptey Wellington who is nursing a knee injury.
