Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of attacker Dickson Afoakwa in the ongoing transfer window.
The 23-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the club following a successful trial.
Afoakwa has been without a club since December 2019 after parting ways with South African outfit Stellenbosch FC.
The winger in 2016 join Belarusian top-flight league side Dinamo Brest after leaving Cornerstone.
He was later loaned out to FC Gomel but failed to live up to expectation for his contract with his parent club, Dinamo Brest to be abrogated after a two seasons
In 2018, he moved from Belarus to Slovenia to join NK Triglav Kranj during the summer transfer window in 2018 but lasted for only six months for his contract to be cancelled.
He becomes the club’s tenth signing of the current transfer window following the acquisitions of Clinton Opoku, Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang, Samuel Boateng, Isaac Oppong, Richard Boadu, Augustine Agyapong, Samuel Appiah and Sherrif Mohammed
