Techiman Eleven Wonders have appointed former Yaw Acheampong as new head of the club, FMIG can confirm.

The former Elmina Sharks coach has signed a deal with the Techiman based following a successful negotiations.

Acheampong takes over the vacant position following the exit of coach Ignatius Osei Fosu.

He is making a return to the dugout after parting ways with Medeama at the just ended season.

The coach was introduced to the playing body on Friday during their training session at Techiman.

The former Ghana International started last season at Elmina Sharks before leaving to join Medeama as assistant to Yaw Preko.

Acheampong will be looking to turn things around for the Techiman based side after battling relegation in the 2020/21 season.
