Legon Cities coach Maxwell Konadu has been named new Black Star assistant coach, the GFA has confirmed.
Konadu was confirmed as the assistant alongside Borussia Dortmund coach Otto Addo.
The GFA three-member committee tasked to appoint a new coach for the Black StarsĀ settled on these coaches to help Milovan Rajevac to steer affair of the Black Stars.
It will be the third time 48 year old Maxwell Konadu will be named as assistant coach of the Black Stars as he played a similar role from 2012-2013 and also from 2014-2019.
Konadu, who recently joined the Royals makes a return to the Black Stars deputy coach role.
He will help out with the monitoring of players from the domestic league as the second deputy coach.
Ghana will take on Zimbabwe in another doubleheader in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers next month.
