Asante Kotoko midfielder Mudasiru Salifu married girlfriend Zainab Mohammed in Kumasi on Sunday, 5 September 2021.

The wedding party- was held at the Ahodwo School Park at Offinso.

His teammates Felix Annan, Naby Keita and Danlad Ibrahim were present to offer him their support.

Asante Kotoko board chairman Dr Kwame Kyei and the Communication Officer of the club David Obeng Nyarko were also attendance.

He becomes the second Kotoko player to marry this year, following the footsteps of defender Ismail Abdul Ganiyu.
