Dreams FC will be hoping to return to winning ways on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu in the Ghana Premier League Week 7 top liner.
The Dawu-based club have just acquired a point in their last three games and are hoping to get things right against Kotoko who have been on and off this season.
The game promise lots of fireworks as Dreams FC are seeking for a revenge after Kotoko defeated them at the same venue in the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League encounter through a 13 seconds Dauda Mohammed strike.
Kotoko on the other hand see the game as the correct avenue to pay Dreams FC in their own coin after outplaying and defeating them by a lone goal to nil in Kumasi on their way to win the GHALCA Top Eight earlier this year.
On paper, it looks like an equal battle but Dreams FC have the urge with the return of mercurial skipper Leonard Owusu who was the man of the match when the two clubs met in January.
Also Dreams FC manager Karim Zito could also be the deciding factor as he played and coached Kotoko and knows everything about the club. As a coach, Kotoko has never beaten a club coached by Karim Zito before.
It will also be interesting to see how the Kotoko defence will contain an in form Zuberu Sharani Zuberu who has netted three goals in six games in his debut Ghana Premier League season.
The midfield will also see players such Baba Mahama, Sarfo Gyamfi, battling the likes of Patrick Arthur and George Dwubeng for supremacy.
Traditionally, Dawu has been a favorable grounds for Kotoko since the days of Dawu Youngsters and Dreams FC should keep focus and play for 90 minutes if they are to get the needed results.
