Former Burkinabe International Aristide Bance has named Anthony Baffoe as his favorite Ghanaian footballer of all-time.
He commended the former CAF Deputy General Secretary for his professionalism during his playing days and subsequently in his work with Africa’s football governing body.
“Anthony Baffoe is my favorite Ghanaian player. He was very professional as a footballer and with his work at CAF. Even in his private life he is professional” Bance told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports.
Baffoe won 25 caps for Ghana and scored one goal in a storied career playing as a centre-back.
He was a member of the Black Stars squad that placed second at the 1992 AFCON in Senegal and captained the team in the final against Ivory Coast.
He also played for several clubs in Europe including FC Cologne, Metz and Nice.
