Tarkwa based Medeama Sporting Club have expressed interest in signing Ashantigold shot-stopper Kofi Mensah.

The Yellow and Mauves are on the hunt for a new goalie having let go of Frank Boateng after a 10-month-spell with the club.

Kofi Mensah who joined the miners during the second transfer window has been a revelation since his arrival.

The former Power Dynamos goalkeeper has been an immense contributor to the solidification of the Miners’ backline since his arrival.

Mensah was in tip-top form during the 2021 MTN FA Cup Final although his side were on the losing end.

It remains unknown as to whether Mensah will join the Yellow and Mauves but FMIG sources can confirm interest has been registered in the goalkeeper and talks are set to begin.
