Hasaacas Ladies have progressed to the semis of the ongoing WAFU Women’s Champions League qualifiers following a scintillating performance against AS Police on Friday.
The Ghana Women’s Champions produced a great performance to inflict a 3-0 defeat on AS Police to book a ticket to the semi-finals of the tournament staged in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
A brace from Milot Pokua and a strike from Doris Boaduwaa secured a comfortable win for the Doo Ladies on the day.
Doris Boaduwaa broke the deadlock of the game on the 20th minute capitalizing from a defensive blunder to give the Doo ladies the lead.
Milot Pokuaa doubled Hasaacas Ladies just before the break with a powerful header to secure.
After the recess, Hasaacas Ladies kept pushing for more goals as AS Police struggled to find their feat.
Pokuaa registered her second goal of the game with a cool finish after making good use of a cross delivered by Jafar Rahama.
Hasaacas Ladies had opportunities in the last ten minutes to ran rout but they failed to utilize the numerous chances as the fixture ended in a 3-0 in favor of the Ghanaian giants.
Hasaacas Ladies will now battle out with Burkina Faso side USFA in the semi-finals of the tourney.
