Ghana and Trabzonspor striker Caleb Ekuban is reportedly pushing for a move away from Turkey according to Turkish media reports.
The striker is said to have met with the board of directors of the club where he made known his demands.
According to reports, Ekuban has refused to be convinced to stay at the club as he’s angling for a move to Italy.
“I want to play in Italy, I don’t want to stay in Trabzon,” Ekuban is reported to have said in the meeting.
Trabzonspor board of directors have met with the technical team and evaluated the player’s persistent request to leave.
Genoa are also reportedly waiting in the wings and have made a €2m bid to Trabzonspor for the services of Caleb Ekuban.
