Former Asante Kotoko CEO, Jarvis Peprah has told the current board to position itself well as a body and help push the club forward.
According to him, the board should be a problem-solving one instead of always running to public with issues relating to the club.
Jarvis Peprah made this comment while speaking in an interview with Hello FM.
It’s been a very difficult season for Asante Kotoko as they end the campaign trophiless. The Porcupine Warriors failed to win the Ghana Premier League losing out to bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak, while also suffering elimination in the FA Cup at the quarter final stage.
Coupled with issues between the board and management, Asante Kotoko have had a year where expectations failed to meet reality.
Assessing the club’s performance, Jarvis Peprah told Hello FM that, “I think our Public Relations side was not the best, but apart from that, I think he’s done very well being in office for just one year.
“We couldn’t win the league and FA Cup but we can build on that in the season ahead.
“So I will not say he has failed, no! With time if the board members position themselves well as a body able to solve problems without coming out it will help the club,” he concluded.
