The Porcupine Warriors missed a golden opportunity to take the lead in regulation time after Fabio Gama missed a penalty after Sarfo Taylor was fouled in the box.
Neither side could be separated after 90 minutes and extra time and Wahab Adams was the unfortunate fellow who missed his spot-kick as Berekum Chelsea emerged victors 5-4 on penalties.
Ashgold breezed past lower tier side Kintampo Talents as the Miners beat them 4-2. The miners who are the competitions top scorers set-up a semi-final clash with Berekum Chelsea following their victory over Kintampo Talents.
The semi-finals will be played on the weekend of 31 July and 1 August, 2021 at the Cape-Coast Stadium.
