champions Hasaacas Ladies will kick off their WAFU Zone B Women’s Championship against Nigeria’s Rivers Angels FC on Saturday at tge Stade Champroux, Abidjan the capital of Cote D’Ivoire.
After conquering at the domestic level by lifting the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup, Hasaacas have shifted theirs attention to the maiden edition of the Women’s Champions League.
After several weeks of preparation at the Ghanaman Soccer center of excellence at Prampram, the Doo ladies are ready for the task ahead.
Head Coach of the club Yusif Basigi is confident of starting the competition on a good note.
“We are very ready for our first and the girls are poised to face our opponent. We have watched their (Rivers Angles FC) training sessions and for me, we can even study them during the match and win.”
“There are no injury situations in camp, every player is fit and we are ready.
The addition of Jafaru Rahmatu will give Basigi a lot of options in the attack.
The likes of Doris Boaduwaa, Milot Opokuwaa, Janet Egyiri and Evelyn Badu are determined to continue from where they left off in the domestic scene.
