Zone 3 champions Accra Lions will be laughing to the bank to cash ₵75,000 from the Ghana Football Association after their triumphant emergence as winners of the zone.

The Blue and Whites will be given a prize money of ₵50,000 plus an extra ₵25,000 to prepare for the upcoming Ghana Premier League.

In addition, the club will be given 40 gold medals as well as a shopping voucher worth ₵5000 to shop at Melcom Ghana.

First runner up, Tema Youth will be given a prize money of ₵30,000 as well as 40 silver medals while Heart of Lions who finished 3rd will get 40 bronze medals.

With a 3-1 win over Danbort FC away from home at the Zimmerman Park in Accra, Accra Lions crowned themselves as winners of Zone 3 thanks to their head-to-head advantage over Tema Youth.

Both tied on 59 points, Accra Lions emerged winners of the zone after beating Tema Youth by 2-0 at the Tema Sports Stadium with the first leg in Accra ending in a stalemate.

Lions, thus, secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League on the back of their away win over Tema Youth.
