Hearts of Oak midfielder Ibrahim Salifu has expressed utmost delight at winning his first career league title following the confirmation of Hearts of Oak as 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League Champions.
The Phobians were confirmed as Champions elect for the 2020/2021 season following Asante Kotoko’s defeat to Bechem United which sees them take a four-point lead on the table ahead of the final round of matches.
Salifu joined Hearts of Oak from Eleven Wonders in the second transfer window and has been a key player for the side.
The midfielder leads the chart for most man-of-the-match awards this season and is a favorite for the Most Valuable Player Award for the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Salifu took to social media to express his delight as he secured his first career title with the Phobians.
