Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has stated he is not going to rest following their 2020/21 league triumph on Sunday.
Boadu led the Phobians to end their 11-year trophy drought after a 1-1 draw against Liberty Professionals in their penultimate game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Salifu Ibrahim sent in a first half corner which was well connected by Daniel Afriyie Barnieh for the Phobians opener.
Despite Liberty getting the equalizer late in the game, the Phobians were crowned champions with a game to spare after Asante Kotoko’s defeat to Bechem United.
Reacting to his side latest achievement, elated Boadu insisted he will not be swollen headed but will harder to achieve more for the club.
“I will make sure I will not be swollen headed. I will make sure I work extra.
“This is a motivational cup or winning so it will prepare me to go higher and higher.” Samuel Boadu said.
