King Faisal continued their fight for survival with a 2-0 win over Legon Cities on Monday.
A goal in each halves from Kwadwo Frimpong and Kwame Peprah propel the Insha Allah boys to a comfortable win at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
It was Legon Cities who started the game very well making a lot of incursions.
Jonah Attuquaye tested Danlad Ibrahim with a shot but the goalkeeper did well to save the danger.
King Faisal warmed themselves into the game with and quickly tested Sylvester Sackey.
The host took the lead on the 27th minute , Kwadwo Frimpong reacting quickly to tap home Zubairu Ibrahim’s cross.
It could have been 2-0 ten minutes later but great goalkeeping by Sylvester Sackey denied Zubairu Ibrahim.
The host held on to their lead till the blast of the first half whistle.
After the break, King Faisal came back strongly making a lot of incursions to get the second.
Slyvester Sackey first denied Kwame Peprah from close range before Enoch Morrison fluffed off the rebound.
The visitors also came close to getting the equalizer but Danlad Ibrahim was up to the task on the day.
King Faisal after minutes of domination got their second of the game, Kwame Peprah captilized from a mistake at the back to score his 12th goal of the campaign.
The Insha Allah boys held on to their lead till the blast of the final whistle
