Hearts of Oak will host bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko SC on Sunday in a mouthwatering top of the table clash.
The GPL matchday 31 fixture is scheduled for 3pm kick off and will be telecasted live on StarTimes.
There is little to choose between the teams as the two most successful clubs in the history of the domestic league prepare to take center stage at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Both pegged on 56 points, there is more than bragging rights at stake in a game that could well turn out to be the potential title decider.
Hearts of Oak are unbeaten in their last seven league matches, recording six wins and only one draw in the process.
Kotoko have also not lost since their 1-2 defeat at Medeama SC in April.
Since then, Mariano Barretto’s side have posted six wins and three draws in their last nine games.
Hearts and Kotoko boast a combined 42 Premier League titles between them. The Porcupine Warriors shade the statistic with 23 titles while the Phobians have 19.
Key players: Much of Hearts of Oak’s hopes will ride on the shoulders of Salifu Ibrahim. The midfield metronome has been sensational since joining the club from Eleven Wonders.
For Kotoko, their Brazilian playmaker Fabio Gama will have a perfect opportunity to endear himself to the fan base and cement his place in Ghana football folklore.
