Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has tipped Hearts of Oak’s Samuel Boadu to emerge as the Ghana Premier League Coach for the 2020-21 season.
Boadu has had a midas touch effect on Hearts of Oak, transforming them from good to very good in his short time there. His arrival has seen the Phobians hit top form, winning 10 out of 14 matches while drawing two and losing just two. This has seen the club ascend the summit of the Ghana Premier League table and are on course to winning their first league title in 10 years .
Much credit has gone to the 35 year old former Medeama SC gaffer who has steered the club towards glory and the latest to commend him is Agyemang Badu who is a known Asante Kotoko fan aside playing for the Porcupine Warriors.
Badu, a former Ghana international with 78 caps to his name told Takoradi based Skyy Power FM that what Samuel Boadu has done deserves recognition and rewarding. He also commended two other coaches for jobs done for their respective clubs.
“I think he deserves the award even if he couldn’t win the league, together with his assistant Hamza Mohammed. Evans Adotey of Karela and Anor Walker of Olympics come next to him”, Badu told Skyy Power FM.
