Head coach of King Faisal Nurudeen Amadu has insisted his charges will not surrender on their fight against the drop it untill the last game of the season.
The Insha Allah Boys held Medeama to a 1-1 draw at Tarkwa to boost their chances of staying in the League.
Kwame Peprah’s late strike cancelled out Prince Opoku Agyemang’s penalty to ensure King Faisal returned to Kumasi with a point.
Speaking to FootballMadeInGhana.com after the game, the coach expressed his satisfaction with his team performance.
“Until the last game, we don’t accept being relegated hence we will fight till the very last day of the season”
“We anticipated a difficult game today against Medeama because they are a good side.
“We knew they wanted a win, but we also wanted the points for our survival hence we went all out.
“Though we couldn’t win, but it’s a good results for us.
The former Kotoko Royals coach also refused to talk about officiating.
“We don’t comment about officiating because you will be tagged as someone abusing referees, but all of you present saw that the penalty call was not a correct one.” He added.
