Ghanaian defender Ishaku Konda could not his excitement after securing Europa Conference League qualification with Paide Linnameenskond.
The Estonian side will be playing in this year’s Europa Conference League and are already set to lock horns with Polish side Slask Wroclaw.
Following the draw, the former Ghana U20 skipper announced his readiness for the clash, describing the clash as a huge platform for his career.
“It’s a dream come true to have the opportunity to play in the Europa Conference League,” he told footballmadeinghana.com
“It’s a fantastic platform to test ourselves against a very good opponent like Slask Wroclaw from the Polish top league.
“The aim would be to win and progress to the next stage and who knows, even the group stages. Anything is possible and I’m ready,” he added.
Konda was the skipper of Ghana U20 side at the AFCON in Niger in 2018 after a wonderful outing with Wa All Stars in the Ghana Premier League a year before.
