The Black Meteors were handed their the fourth defeat of their Asian tour after a 2-1 loss to South Korea on Tuesday.

Despite putting up an impressive performance on the day, the Ghana U24 side ended the game with another defeat.

Jung Woo-young’s tapped in the first goal for the South Koreans after the first effort from his teammate hit the post.

Ghana leveled through Schalke O4 youngster Joselpho Barnes after the break connecting a beautiful pass from Osman Bukari.

But the Asians were too strong for the Black Meteors as Lee Dong-Kyung’s clever pass found Dong-Jun for the winner late into the game.

The defeat is the second to the South Koreans, making it an aggregate loss of 5-2. The team had already lost two games to Japan on a 10-0 aggregate

The Japanese and South Korean teams are preparing for the summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.
