Ashantigold defeated King 2-1 to progress to the 32 of the MTN FA Cup.

A first half own goal from Mutawakilu Fuseini was enough to eliminate the home side at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.

Both side rested their key players coming to the game as they gave the fringe players the opportunity to have some game time.

Ashantigold had the opportunity to take the lead but Brooklyn shot was saved by Jabal Adams.

The Miners took the lead on the 43rd minute after Mutawakilu Fuseini put Brooklyn effort in his own net.

Both sides created a lot of opportunities in the second half but couldn’t find the back of the net.

The Miners held on to their lead till the blast of the final whistle.
