Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Alabi has won his first trophy with Swiss side FC Luzern following their 3-1 victory over St Gallen on Monday.

FC Luzern defeated St Gallen on Monday to lift the 2020/2021 Swiss Cup.

Ibrahima Ndiaye and Jordy Werhmann gave Luzern a two goal lead just before the hour mark.

Despite a strike from Chikwabuike  Adamu to reduce the deficit for St Gallen just before the break.

Swiss midfielder Pascal Schurpf restored Luzern’s two goals lead with a well taken effort.

Luzern FC held on to their lead till the blast of the whistle.

Former Dreams FC midfielder Samuel Alabi missed the game due to an injury which forced him to sit out of many games since joining the club from Ashdod FC.

Luzern finished 6th on the 2020/2021 League standings.
