King Faisal defeated Elmina Sharks 0-1 at the Ndoum Park on Sunday to boost their survival fight.
A second half strike from Kwadwo Frimpong was enough to propel the Insha Allah boys to their second away win of the campaign.
It was the host who started the game very well putting a lot of pressure on the visitors.
The first chance of the fell to Benjamin Boateng but his shot was dealt by Danlad Ibrahim.
Zubairu Ibrahim also came close for King Faisal but Bawa Lord did well to stop his efforts.
No goal was scored in the first half as both side’s kept it tight at the back.
King Faisal took the lead through Kwadwo Frimpong in the 52nd minute, the striker made no mistake in the penalty box to taps home an effort from Kwame Peprah.
The host were twice denied by wonderful goalkeeping from Danlad Ibrahim as King Faisal held on to pick the maximum points
