Ghanaian midfielder Baba Alhassan scored his debut goal for Romanian top-flight side FC Hermannstandt in their 1-0 win against Poli Lasi in the relegation playoffs.
The midfielder climbed off the bench to score the winner for his side to boost their chances of survival.
Alhassan was introduced on the 74th for David Mayoral and scored just four minutes after coming on to give his side the need victory.
The win has helped Hermannstandt to close the gap with 14th place Astra with just a point seperating the two side’s now.
The goal was Baba Alhassan’s first goal for the club since joining the side at the beginning of the season.
Compatriot Bright Addai also featured entire duration of the game for the relegation threatened side.
